Transcribed court records, church records, death records, deeds, Marriage records, military records, obituaries, cemetery records, newspaper articles, Wills, and more. It is all free and run by volunteers. There are tons of records entered for Bedford County (over 60,000 entries just for Bedford County). Just remember if you use the advanced search tool on the site to check the time frame for the age of the post. If it is your first time searching on the site click "All dates". This time frame is for when the record was added to the site, not when the event took place. (This is on the bottom of the page and often not seen when you enter the search criteria and defaults to past 30 days so you will miss-out if you don't change the time frame.)
