Dutch Corner History Group

I would like to gather any information or stories that people have about the Oppenheimers who developed the iron mining in DC (Dutch Corner).

Does anybody out there remember Norbert or Regina when they were living in the borough? Norbert built the building where Hebrew's Coffee Shop is now located. He did that after the older building that housed his store burned.

I think that I am going to start spelling "Oppenheimers" as "Openheimers". If people are going to mispronounce the name, why shouldn't I misspell it? Could two wrongs make a right?
