George Dively (son of Jacob and Barbara Lingenfelder Dively) was born in Greenfield Township, Blair County, PA around 1782 and died about 1845.  He was a tanner (information given to Emma Cannon Dively by Dorothy Gableman Dively in 1901).  He married Julia Bucher, a daughter of Casper Bucher, a Reformed Circuit Riding preacher.

Children of George and Julia were:

2.      Frederick b. 10.15.1809 d. 3.22.1889 married Barbara Duncan.  Buried at Union Cemetery, Claysburg, PA.

3.      Jacob G. b. 3.31.1818 d. 1889 married Dorothy Gableman (10.2.1824 to 5.15.1903) on 3.27.1842.  Buried at Messiah Lutheran Church, Dutch Corner, Bedford, PA.

4.      Bartholomew b. 4.1.1822 d. 9.5.1864 married in 1845 Rachel Claar (7.23.1827 to 11.6.1883), daughter of Frederick Claar and Christina Walter.

5.      Michael b. 5.21.1829 d. 3.29.1903 married Eve Hoenstine (12.23.1819 to 1.18.1873).  Buried at Upper Claar Cemetery, Claysburg, PA.

6.      Martin married Catherine Mock

7.      Mary Ann married George Points
